There will be little during your vacation to match the thrill of a grand old schooner under a full press of sail, cutting through the waters of Nantucket Sound. Tyrone, recognized as Antigua Race Week’s most beautiful boat in 1994, was designed by Sam Crocker in 1939 to be an off shore passage maker. Heavily built at forty eight tons and powered by a Cummins diesel engine, the schooner will afford its guests old world charm and comfort, combined with safety and mobility.
Consider joining us for a morning, an afternoon, or a full day. Or perhaps an overnight to Nantucket would be to your liking. Maybe a sail to nowhere, heaving to for the night, eating and sleeping well, while looking at migratory and pelagic birds as the sun rises and sets. There are many possibilities. Guest capacity is limited to six.
