Cozy Cape Gem

"Charming cozy cottage with modern amenities. Morning walks to the beach. Went whale watching, rode the rail trail bike path and had great dinners. Very comfortable stay. Will be returning and can't wait!

"We had the absolute best stay in this well appointed, charming cottage. It has all the needed modern amenities and its decor is lovely. Loved the indoor and outdoor showers, the patio, the kitchen and living area. The bed was very comfortable. It is in a quiet, peaceful area close to gorgeous beaches, delicious restaurants, and exquisite bike trails. There is a nearby lake, museums, galleries, and antique shops. We will definitely be returning.

"I found this rental last minute, and It turned out beautifully. As a solo traveler, it was perfect for me in many ways. It was super clean & well appointed with everything one might need for a week or more stay. I loved the barn doors, bright with lots of windows, exposed beams, French doors (I couldn’t figure out how to lock them though), nice patio, comfy bed, towels & linens were provided (soft & excellent quality), A/C (those mini-split units), great enclosed outdoor shower, and more. The only criticism I have is that the stools at the kitchen Island didn’t have backs. I needed to work while I was there & had a few long video calls. I don’t think I would return if they didn’t switch out the stools for something more comfortable & with more support. As for the location, it had its pros and cons. I liked the street as it was quiet & close to town & beaches. But because there are no sidewalks, it’s not that easy to walk to town, and it’s just a little too far to walk to the beaches. For me, being able to walk to the beach safely & whenever I want (and within like 15 minutes) is pretty important. I like to walk at low tide & swim at high tide. Mayflower beach parking fills up fast, so even if you get a sticker, you may be disappointed. Overall, the cottage (feels like a carriage house) is beautiful and I had a really nice time.
