This fully renovated 1739 charmer is equipped with all the modern amenities and a
sidewalk stroll away from all the restaurants and shops that Barnstable Village has to
offer. Centrally located, this family-friendly fully air-conditioned getaway is walking
distance to the water with complimentary beach passes to many of Cape Cod's beautiful
beaches and ponds just a short car ride away.

After exploring the Cape, spread out in any of the thoughtfully appointed family friendly
rooms with plenty of space for kids. On the first floor, choose from the light and airy
sunporch, a reading room with your choice of reading nooks, a well-stocked game
room, a family room with a binge-worthy sectional as well as a welcoming gourmet
kitchen and adjacent butler's pantry that opens into an elegant 10-seater dining room
with more dining space on the outdoor patio. Double kitchen doors open onto an inviting
backyard where you can spend countless hours lounging by day or gathered under the
stars around the gas fire table at night. A deluxe gas grill, outdoor dining table and yard
games provide still more entertainment options.

The expansive second floor includes 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths (1 with hand-held
shower tub). The primary bedroom features its own ensuite bathroom with a luxurious
shower (double shower heads!) and is furnished with a King bed, and plenty of closet
space. The four guest rooms are designed for some welcome R+R offering three
upholstered queen beds with an irresistible twin over full bunk bed in the fourth
bedroom.

"Our family has stayed in many houses on the Cape over the years and this house is our new favorite. The location is amazing with water and restaurants are just a short walk away. One day we walked down to the Hyannis Whale Watcher dock for a memorable tour. The house is clean and roomy. During the day, we spread out in the comfy nooks and crannies or gathered in the large family spaces inside and out and at the end of the day, the comfortable beds were a welcome retreat—the Octopus bunk beds were a total hit with the kids! It was the perfect place for our family and friends to spend our annual Cape Cod vacation this year. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks,

Historic charm; modern convenience

"The historic details of this house are charming and easy to enjoy with all the modern updates. There was plenty of space to spread out and chill, but we spent most of our time hanging out together on the patio outside or in the comfy indoor sunporch. Nestled in the quaint little village of Barnstable, everything we needed was just steps away including a gourmet market, coffee shop and beach! The host left easy to follow instructions and tips with suggestions of other nearby places to explore by car. Look forward to returning to check them out as well!

Great house in a great spot!

"Beautiful house--spacious and comfy. The historic details take you back in time 2024-style (think central air, Wolf range and gas fire pit). The house came with everything we needed (sheets, towels, beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and wagon—even a bedside carafe in every room!). From morning coffee to afternoon cocktails, our days began and ended on the patio while the kids played in the yard or gathered round the game table inside. Great location. Easy walk to the quaint little village of Barnstable in one direction, full of food and galleries with a sidewalk that leads down to Millway Beach. Heading in the opposite direction, we strolled through a quiet neighborhood to a hidden patch of paradise (local Town Way to Water) where we swam and hunted for seashells. This house was the perfect place to chill and explore.

"Had a great week with family and friends. The charm of this antique home is irresistible, but the modern and thoughtful updates made it easy to really enjoy ourselves. The location was perfect for our group—giving us walkable access to the quaint town and local beaches while being just a short drive away from good restaurants and other Cape Cod must-sees. "A charming, fully updated historic home just a short walk from Barnstable Village and the bay. Dog-friendly without skimping on luxury! Chef’s kitchen, ample-size bedrooms, comfortable beds, and lots of beautiful spaces for lounging, reading, and watching TV. The dining room easily seats 10. We enjoyed walking in the lovely quiet neighborhood next door, getting coffee at Nirvana, and shopping for sundries at Barnstable Market. Wonderful stay!
